Customizing the Ceremony Script.
Tips for Writing Your Own Vows if you choose to do so.
Let's kick things off by noting down each of your unique qualities, reflecting on your journeys, and recognizing how those experiences have brought you together on this path to becoming "Two Hearts Beating as One," as I like to say.
Speak from the heart, practice reading them, don’t get nervous. “You will be fine.”
If you prefer to take the traditional approach, that is perfectly fine too. Some of my couples who were quite nervous chose to repeat their vows after me, and it worked beautifully for them.
Love Story
You can decide if you want your Love Stories to be told. I provide resources to my couples to assist with incorporating their own into the ceremony.
You can begin by writing how you both met and what you love about each other, your first date, the proposal, and your interests as a couple.
Readings or rituals:
Symbolic gestures like Handfasting, Jumping the Broom, Wine Box, Love letters, to name a few.
Reading a poem or a prayer blessing from a family member or me as your Officiant.
